Each Tablet Contains:
Superoxide Dismutase 140 IU

Superoxide dismutase is the enzyme that causes oxidation and reduction of the superoxide radicals to molecular oxygen and hydrogen peroxide As oxidative stress is the underlying cause of the various diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, Diabetes So, superoxide dismutase prevents oxidative stress and pathological conditions

Indications

• Inflammatory bowel disease
• In ulcerative colitis
• In urinary tract inflammatory disease
• Dermatitis
• Prevents fibrosis
• Reduces damage to the eye
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Osteoarthritis

Mechanism of action

Superoxide dismutase helps in the breakdown of the superoxide radicals and helps to prevent damage to the tissues

Side effects

Inactivates other iron containing enzymes therefore further produces iron containing radicals

Contraindications

• Contraindicated in Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
• Contraindicated in high fever
• Contraindicated in pregnant women and in breast feeding mothers
